  • IP Address: Collected for rate limiting and anonymous rent check records.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns via privacy-friendly analytics.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve our Service.
  • Calculate rent increase legality based on RERA index data.
  • Analyze tenancy contracts for red flags and missing protections using AI.
  • Generate legal notices based on your input.
  • Process payments via Stripe for paid features.
  • Send transactional emails (welcome, payment receipts, analysis completion).

3. AI Processing

Our Service uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to analyze contracts, answer legal questions, and generate notices. When you use these features:

  • Your contract text and chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
  • AI responses are generated in real-time and stored with your account.
  • We do not use your data to train AI models. Anthropic's API usage policy prohibits training on customer data.
  • Contract text and analysis results are stored in our database for your future reference.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Database: Your data is stored in encrypted MySQL databases.
  • File Storage: Uploaded contracts are stored on Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible) with encryption at rest.
  • Payments: All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
  • Transmission: All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Access: Internal access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing.
  • Anthropic: For AI-powered contract analysis and chat features.
  • Cloudflare: For file storage and CDN services.
  • Email Provider: For transactional emails (Resend).
  • Law Enforcement: If required by UAE law or valid legal process.

6. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Rent Check History: Retained for the lifetime of your account.
  • Uploaded Contracts: Retained until you delete them or your account is deleted.
  • Chat History: Retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
  • Payment Records: Retained for 7 years as required by UAE accounting regulations.
  • Anonymous Rent Checks: IP-based records retained for 90 days for rate limiting.

Under UAE data protection regulations (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — PDPL), you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
